BRETT M. BLOOMSTON: Bloomston Basgier was founded in early 2010. Joe and I started this firm to provide individual attention and a team approach to good aggressive criminal defense in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

JOSEPH J. BASGIER III: We here at Bloomston & Basgier are a small firm by design. The intent behind that is to be a client-focused law firm. Oftentimes, we've found when clients look at larger law firms, they can get lost in the shuffle. They can't get the personal treatment that they need and they deserve. We are determined and focused on giving that kind of representation here at this law firm.

BRETT M. BLOOMSTON: Most folks are looking for an aggressive criminal defense. Now some cases we don't take to court. We don't litigate every case. However, we aggressively prepare for every case. And that helps us negotiate good plea agreements and work out cases that need to be worked out. On the other hand, some cases do go to trial. And we aggressively take those cases to trial. We're ready to fight. And we're ready to win.
